When do you pay, and what do the warranties cover?

Find out the amount due at each stage and what work must be completed before that payment. Separately, check what the product and installation warranties cover, who provides them, and whom to contact about a problem.

What this means for your project

Ask which event triggers each payment and how the event will be documented. For warranty information, identify the issuer, covered work or product, term, exclusions, maintenance expectations, and claim contact. Product and workmanship warranties may have different issuers and procedures. Do not assume an insurer’s payment timing replaces the agreement’s payment terms or removes a deductible. Where terms affect a significant decision, get written clarification and appropriate advice before signing.

Questions worth taking with you

  • Connect each payment to a stated milestone.
  • Request full warranty documents before relying on a summary.
  • Identify issuer, responsibilities, and claim procedure.
  • Ask how unresolved completion items are recorded.

What document explains each promise you are relying on?

Use check what your roofing quote includes to record the details and unanswered questions. The result is available before you decide whether to contact EaseRoofing.
